We provide strategic advisory, operational improvement, business planning and governance support to businesses across Australia. In the course of our work, we collect and handle personal information, and we take that responsibility seriously.
2. The Australian Privacy Principles
The Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) are a set of legally binding standards set out in Schedule 1 of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). They govern how Australian Privacy Act entities must collect, hold, use, disclose and secure personal information. This privacy policy is written to comply with the APPs and outlines our practices under each relevant principle.
3. The Kinds of Personal Information We Collect

- Website usage data such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, religious or biometric data) unless it is reasonably necessary for a permitted purpose and you have given consent.
4. How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information in the following ways:
- Directly from you, when you contact us by email, submit a form on this website, or communicate with us during a consulting engagement;
- Automatically, through cookies and analytics software when you browse this website;
- From third parties, such as a referee, a professional adviser or a party authorised by you to share information on your behalf.
Where it is reasonable and practicable, we will collect personal information only from you.
5. Purposes for Which We Collect, Hold, Use and Disclose Personal Information
We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for purposes including:
- Responding to enquiries and providing quotes for our business services and consulting work;
- Delivering, managing and invoicing consulting engagements;
- Communicating with you about your project, our services or changes to this policy;
- Conducting internal administration, record-keeping, quality assurance and business planning;
- Meeting legal, taxation, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We will not use or disclose personal information for a purpose other than the primary purpose of collection unless you have consented, or the use is permitted or required under the APPs or another Australian law.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers who assist us to operate our business, such as website hosting, email, cloud storage, accounting and payment providers, under contractual confidentiality obligations;
- Professional advisers, such as our auditors, accountants and legal counsel, where reasonably required;
- Government bodies, regulators or law enforcement, where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles personal information in a manner consistent with the APPs.
7. Direct Marketing
We may use the contact details you provide to send you information about our business services and consulting offerings that we believe may interest you. Every direct marketing communication includes a simple way to opt out, and you may withdraw consent at any time by emailing ceo@bogdangroup.online. We will action opt-out requests promptly and free of charge. We do not use sensitive information for direct marketing.
8. Data Quality
We take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, up to date, complete and relevant. If you believe information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please let us know and we will take reasonable steps to correct it.
9. Data Security and Retention
We hold personal information in electronic records secured by access controls, password protection and, where appropriate, encryption. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We retain personal information for only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy and to satisfy our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. Once information is no longer required, and retention is not mandated by law, we will securely destroy or de-identify it.
10. Access to Your Personal Information
Under APP 12, you have a right to request access to the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email ceo@bogdangroup.online with details of the information sought. We will respond within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days. We will provide access free of charge unless the request is manifestly unfrequent or excessive, in which case we will explain any reasonable administrative cost before proceeding.
There are limited circumstances under the APPs where access may be refused, such as where giving access would pose a serious threat to someone's safety or would unreasonably impact the privacy of others. If we refuse access, we will provide written reasons and advise how you may complain about the decision.
11. Correction of Your Personal Information
Under APP 13, you may request that we correct personal information we hold about you to ensure it is accurate, up to date, complete, relevant and not misleading. We will respond to correction requests within a reasonable period and will notify third parties to whom we have disclosed the information of any correction where that is practicable and appropriate.

14. Cross-Border Disclosure
We prefer to store data with providers whose servers are located in Australia. Where a service provider stores or processes personal information overseas, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient does not breach the APPs, and we remain accountable under APP 8 for such disclosures.
15. Notifiable Data Breaches
We maintain processes to identify and respond to data breaches. If a breach of our security is likely to result in serious harm to any individual whose personal information we hold, we will assess the incident promptly and, where required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as soon as practicable.
16. Making a Privacy Complaint
